24/7  Emergency response for fire pump system failures
04 — 24/7 Emergency

Fire pump down? We roll as fast as we can.

Statewide Georgia 24/7 emergency response for fire pump controllers and fire pumps. The on-call line connects you to a real CCS technician, not a dispatcher and not a call center.

What "emergency" means here

When you call our emergency line, you reach a CCS technician, typically the same person who'll show up at your facility. We get the basics on the call: brand and model of the controller, what the pump is doing or not doing, what alarms or fault codes are showing, whether utility and generator power are present, and what your AHJ has been told. Then we roll. No subcontractors and no out-of-state handoffs. Every emergency call is run end-to-end by the technicians who service these systems every day.

What we bring on emergency dispatch

Every CCS service truck is built to close out a typical emergency call in a single visit. The most common controller "failures" trace back to a small set of components, and we carry those in inventory.

  • Common replacement parts: pressure transducers, contactor sets, control relays, terminal blocks, battery chargers.
  • Brand-specific diagnostic software: Firetrol, Tornatech, Eaton, Master Control Systems, and Metron-Eledyne.
  • Calibration tools: gauge and transducer calibration for sensing-circuit faults.
  • Replacement boards: main and HMI boards for the major controller lines, so a board-level failure doesn't mean a return trip.

What you should do right now

If you're reading this while waiting on a technician, a few minutes of prep on your end will shorten the time the pump is offline.

  1. Note the alarm codes and fault log on the controller display if it's accessible.
  2. Photograph the controller nameplate: brand, model, serial, voltage, horsepower.
  3. Confirm power into the controller: utility AND generator if you have a dual-source system.
  4. Notify your AHJ if the fire suppression system is out of service per local impairment procedures.
  5. Stage someone at the building entry to walk the technician directly to the pump room.
When your pump is down, your fire suppression is offline. We treat every emergency call as life-safety. Use the 24/7 number at the top of this page.

Coverage

Statewide Georgia for emergency response. Trucks roll out of Statham in Barrow County, with travel included for the NE Georgia region and billed at standard rate elsewhere in the state. We aim for same-day arrival where we reasonably can; NE Georgia is the fastest territory, while metro Atlanta and farther destinations vary with traffic and time of day. Emergency response into the neighboring counties of South Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee is possible. Call and we'll tell you on the phone whether we can get there fast enough to be useful.

Code references

  • NFPA 20 and NFPA 25: Even an emergency service call ships with a written report you can hand to your AHJ or insurance carrier, with reference language for installation (NFPA 20) and inspection / testing / maintenance (NFPA 25).
  • NEC 695 (NFPA 70 Article 695): Power-side faults (disconnects, conductor sizing, transfer switch interface) often live here, and we trace them as part of the diagnosis.
  • For deeper code discussion, see controller service & repair and annual testing.

FAQs

Will I really get a technician on the phone?

That's how the line is set up. The 24/7 line is an on-call rotation rather than a dispatch desk, so whoever answers can talk through your fault on the phone and is the one rolling the truck.

How fast can you actually be on site?

We move as fast as we reasonably can. NE Georgia is typically the fastest territory; metro Atlanta, South Georgia, and adjacent-state response vary with distance and time of day. We'll tell you on the call what's realistic.

What does an emergency call cost?

Our after-hours rate is published and we quote the call before we roll. You'll know what you're agreeing to (minimum charge, hourly rate, travel) before a truck leaves Statham.
